Nytol Simply Sleep & Calm Elixir 100ml contains Valerian root extract, which has been used for decades to induce sleep and promote calm. A traditional herbal medicinal product for use in temporary relief of symptoms of mild anxiety and to aid sleep, exclusively based upon long-standing use as a traditional remedy. As it’s in liquid form, it is a good solution if you don’t like taking tablets. The effects of this treatment may not occur immediately; therefore, this product should be taken continuously for 2-4 weeks.

Safety Warning Not recommended for children or those under 18 years old. Do not drive or operate machines if you feel sleepy. Alcohol may increase the effects of this product. Therefore, excessive alcohol should be avoided. Do not take this medicine if you are: Allergic to any of the ingredients, pregnant or breastfeeding, or already taking medicine for sleep or anxiety. Consult your doctor before taking this medicine if you are: Suffering from alcoholism as this product contains alcohol, intolerant to some sugars as this product contains sucrose. Dosage:
For oral use:
Adults and the elderly:
For the symptomatic relief of mild anxiety:
Take two 5ml spoonfuls three times a day with water or a fruit juice if desired.
To aid sleep:
Take two 5ml spoonfuls 30 minutes before bedtime with an earlier dose during the evening if necessary.
Maximum daily dosage:
Four single doses (40mls).
Do not take more than the label tells you to.

Warnings:

– This product contains alcohol which may affect your ability to drive or use machines.
– This product may make you feel drowsy or dizzy. If affected, do not drive or use machines.
– Alcohol may increase the effects of this product. Therefore excessive alcohol should be avoided.

Do not take this medicine if you are:
– Allergic to any of the ingredients
– Pregnant or breastfeeding
– Already taking a medicine for sleep, or for anxiety or stress, or that makes you sleepy
– Taking a medicine known to interact with alcohol e.g. metronidazole
